Ashwin Yogesh Balu is a highly motivated and enthusiastic data analytics professional with a strong background in software engineering. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Analytics Engineering from Northeastern University, where he is honing his skills in data analysis, machine learning, and big data technologies. Ashwin is passionate about learning and is always looking for opportunities to expand his knowledge and expertise. With 1.35 years of relevant experience, Ashwin has worked as an intern at Sundaram Clayton and Daimler India Commercial Vehicles. At Sundaram Clayton, he worked on a project aimed at increasing the efficiency of Gravity Die Casting Auto Pouring Machine. At Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, he spearheaded a project titled ‘Lead Time Reduction in part supply and Industrial Ergonomics’. His work involved analyzing the lead time and ergonomic risk assessment of the 'Cabin Manufacturing Department'. He manually recorded each and every process of the department using a video camera and graded each of the processes using the WERA CHECK SHEET. Ashwin also proposed a design change on the unloading floor of the workshop modeled using SketchUp software in order to reduce the lead time. Ashwin's technical expertise lies in software engineering, where he has a strong foundation in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++. He is also proficient in data analysis tools such as R, Tableau, and Excel. Ashwin is a quick learner and is always eager to explore new technologies and tools. Ashwin is a graduate student at Northeastern University College of Engineering, where he is pursuing his Master's degree in Data Analytics Engineering. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University. Ashwin is a data analytics enthusiast who is passionate about using data to solve complex problems.
